The Interprofessional Practice and Learning team facilitates and advances person-centered care through evidence-based professional practice and learning strategies and programs that are designed provincially and implemented locally to enhance collaborative learning and practice. The Interprofessional Practice and Learning team takes a leadership role in creating a culture of collaboration with a focus on team-based care, evidence-informed practice, and learning and professional development to improve health outcomes for patients, families and communities. Through strong partnerships with the academic sector, regulators, and government, the Interprofessional Practice and Learning team has an integral role in influencing and operationalizing health system priorities.

**About the Opportunity**:
Under the direction of the zonal Director, Interprofessional Practice & Learning (IPP&L), the Secretary II supports all aspects of simulation and education programming delivered by members of the Northern zone (NZ) IPP&L team. In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Educators, Professional Practice Leaders, Simulation Specialists, and the Simulation Manager, the Secretary II supports all learners participating in an education program delivered by NZ IPP&L. The Secretary II coordinates the annual schedule and registration processes, communicates with learners, managers, and educators, and prepares and maintains education spaces, equipment, and supplies to support the effective and efficient running of education programs. The Secretary II supports daily operations of simulation education programs offered by NZ IPP&L team members (including but not limited to practice education programming, advanced competency training, safety training, orientation programs, etc.). The Secretary II also provides support to the development, implementation, and evaluation of processes and tools to ensure excellent and effective education programming, including reporting on activities. The Secretary II exhibits the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors that align with the Interprofessional Practice and Learning framework.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus completion of one-year Community College Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent program required
- Minimum two years of previous related experience required
- Highly developed prioritization skills and ability to professionally respond to multiple requests
- Proficiency with a variety of technical equipment
- Graphic Design skills preferred to support evaluation and reporting requirements
- Proficiency with PC and MS suite of tools
- Excellent knowledge of computers including design, databases, and pulling reports
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with shifting priorities to meet conflicting and time-sensitive requests
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement
- Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferred
