**Join our amazing team at The Pearle Hotel & Spa and work in our stunning property on the waterfront of Lake Ontario**

The Pearle Hotel & Spa is searching for a weekend security guard with previous experience in law enforcement or luxury hotel security. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and guests, providing first response to all incidents and security patrols in the assigned areas.
- Maintain a safe and secure property
- Perform preventative and proactive security measures
- Observe and monitor suspicious behavior
- Perform surveillance, investigation and reporting of criminal activity or other suspicious incidents
- Use knowledge of law, regulations and policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Act as a deterrent to criminal activity or unlawful conduct
- Follow procedures for all entrances, exits, gates, doors and other access points
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents in accordance with established procedures
- Complete required reports as required by supervisor or management

**Skills**:

- Must have at least two years of experience as an officer of the law or a security guard or employee in a security position.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
