Burlington, Canada Securtac Protection Services Full time

**Overview**:
Securtac Protection Services, a licensed Security Guard Services provider in the GTA, specializing in a variety of uniformed security needs, is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team.

**Duties**: (THIS IS A TRUCK YARD AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FREQUENTLY ENTER AND EXIT THE TRAILER IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS)
- Screen individuals entering the facility and ensure compliance with security protocols
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain safety and security
- Record the ins/out of trailers and driver information
- Inspect trailers and record in the temperature in a log book
- Monitor CCTV systems for unauthorized activities
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify security risks
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies
- Report incidents to management and on-site supervisor
- Enforce access control procedures
- Provide customer service to visitors
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services
- Maintain detailed incident reports

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario security guard license
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must work night shift 11pm to 7am
- Must be flexible to work 3 days one week and 4 days next week
- 8 hour shifts each
- Will be cross trained with other clients site, performing same duties
- Must be willing to work in inclement weather. Must exit the trailer during all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Proficient in report writing

**Skills**:

- Strong observation and surveillance abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Calm demeanor in stressful situations
- Knowledge of security procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and security equipment
- Physical fitness for extended standing or walking periods
- Basic computer skills for security system operation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 44 per week
