**TEMPO FOOD + DRINK - GRAB N' GO ATTENDANT**

This front-line position is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer focus. Our colleagues work toprovide the highest level of service in a knowledgeable, professional manner while striving constantly to exceed guest expectations. Reporting to the Manager the primary areas of focus for this position are:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Deliver exceptional customer service at our Grab n' Go station.
- Serving customers who chose from our excellent selection of ready made products.
- Preparing coffee/tea and other beverages as needed.
- Embrace the hotel’s Food and Beverage Standards and its Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Exceed the expectations of all guests (both internal and external) through empowerment and by responding attentively, efficiently, and politely to all requests.
- Help create a positive work environment through teamwork, cooperation, and communication with peers and team leaders.
- Actively participate in monthly departmental communication meetings, and initiatives.
- Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by reporting all safety hazards, following WHMIS and Fire Safety training, and working in a safe manner.
- Contribute to the overall financial success of the Food and Beverage department through suggestive selling, up-selling, breakage/equipment control, accurate financial reporting, and cash-outs.
- Bringing a positive and consistent attitude to the venue for both your guests and immediate coworkers, and by extension all fellow associates of the Barrington Hotel.
- Maintain stock, supply, and inventory of Grab and Go related items. Ensure pars are maintained for daily food service.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Minimum of 1 year barista experience is required; general Food and Beverage experience an asset.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Responsible Beverage Server or comparable certificate. Food handling certification an asset.
- Demonstrates exceptional guest service skills and a passion to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
- Able to organize job tasks efficiently, be thorough and exact with details, provide quality guest service.
- Capable of handling a physically demanding workload, including lifting, or standing for long periods of time.
- Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic individual with a neat, professional appearance.
- Reliable and flexible to work varied shifts.

**POSITION DETAILS**:
Shifts: Shifts and hours vary based on the needs of the business.

Must to be able to start as early as 5am shifts as needed

SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada’s leading hotel management companies and manages a large portfolio of full-service, focused service and extended stay hotels across Canada. The company manages hotels operating under major franchise brands, such as Marriott and Hilton.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
