**About the Manager, Group Sales**

Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President, Sales, the **Manager, Group Sales **is responsible for driving sales performance excellence with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue goals. This position is a key member of our Operational Leadership Team. This position will collaborate across the organization to execute sales plans that advance sales strategy to ensure sustainable growth and positive financial results are achieved through the development and implementation of sales programs, intermediary strategy and retention strategy. This position offers the flexibility to be remote with travel to Saskatoon and Regina, or hybrid at the Saskatchewan Blue Cross office in either city.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Deliver remarkable experiences that embody Saskatchewan Blue Cross’ values by providing leadership to the Group Sales team, developing and coaching direct reports, and modeling effective behaviors
- Decisively translate strategic business requirements into sales results, departmental goals, performance goals, sales plans and rigorous objectives/standards for sales team members; provide guidance and expertise to support success
- Develop annual sales plans and budgets to meet organizational goals
- Serve on the operational leadership team to successfully orchestrate and align peer leaders around common objectives to ensure sales and retention strategies mobilize effectively, working as a unit to deliver results, share best practice and address escalated sales and retention issues and complaints
- Establish, monitor and report on operational performance indicators and targets, including client risk and retention and the achievement of sales financial goals, sales process quality and market satisfaction
- Oversee broker commissions and incentive programs
- Maintain active oversight of SBC’s Client Relationship Management Software
- Provide strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to the team that enables and encourages teamwork, open-mindedness, technical expertise, bold thinking and new ideas that continually enhance skill and departmental effectiveness, efficiency and service delivery to both internal and external clients
- Develop and mobilize practical and comprehensive sales programs, prospecting plans, action plans, initiatives and campaigns aligned to strategy to ensure effective sales pipeline management and the delivery of the established annual business plan for the department
- Communicate strategic and department vision and policy into concrete plans and activities
- Accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets, in collaboration with sales and finance leadership
- Implements strong budgeting, financial reporting and monitoring processes
- Ensure adherence to sales policy and procedure aligned to regulatory and legislative requirements, ensuring adequate oversight and controls are in effect at all times; provide input and suggestions to meet changing market conditions, new legislation, or business strategies of Saskatchewan Blue Cross
- Lead team through proper strategies for rate adjustments with Contract Renewals
