Job Description/Requirements

As a Coordinator to the People Business Partner Team, you will be a key member supporting the business partner team. The Business Partner Team is the strategic driver and partner for IMAX within the Global People Structure. The Global People Business Partner Team will work with Leaders and their team(s) across the global business to drive consistency and positive outcomes in three critical areas: Strategy, Leadership, and Organizational Effectiveness. This role will support the partners with coordination and operational aspects of the of day to day work as well as all operation support during our annual programs.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide day to day support to the HR Partner team in collaboration of client partner work that includes pulling reports/data, creating org charts, request to hire forms, scheduling meetings and participating as needed on ad-hoc projects
Coordination and support on all annual cycle work including Headcount planning, Performance Management, Compensation and Talent cycles
Point of contact to IMAX employees and providing information and guidance on basic employee questions or, ensure employee inquiries are directed to the right teams in a timely manner
Participate in continuous improvement projects, propose solutions and ideas to find more efficient ways to deliver HR support to employees and BP team
Collaborate with the other COEs of Talent, HR Ops, Total Rewards and People teams on current and future people activities
Update and maintain Workday/Excel employee data with accuracy for the People Partner Team
Assists in executing all HR related polices, practices and direction from the company
Provide support for 700+ employees in LA, CAN, New York and globally as needed
Participate and help with a seamless and informative on-boarding and off-boarding experience for all new hires as well as departing employees

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
Ability to naturally communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our people and externally when required
High organization, multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
A methodical, detail-oriented, and thorough approach to work
Strong Excel skills (v-look ups, pivot tables)
Results-oriented, strong execution and follow up skills
A proactive approach to their updates and communication
High emotional intelligence, and exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
