Position Overview:
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst will provide key operational support for liquidity optimization, foreign exchange risk management, reporting and pension plan administration. Responsibilities will include cash forecasting, FX hedging, pension plan administration support, treasury and pension reporting, maintaining various financial models, and providing support and analysis to the overall treasury department.

**Job Description**:

- Prepare daily short-term cash forecast and FX exposure monitoring report
- Execute global foreign exchange hedges and short-term borrowing / investment activities with banks
- Build and maintain financial models to support capital markets, corporate finance, and foreign exchange strategies
- Prepare treasury reports, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting, hedge accounting valuation and testing, risk exposure and performance reporting
- Provide support to regional treasury teams in South America and the UK for their hedging and capital markets activities
- Prepare various treasury related analyses and reports for management
- Coordinate internal/external audits to ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist as needed on various global Treasury projects and initiatives
- Support Manager, Treasury with ensuring compliance with pension plan governance requirements
- Assist Manager, Treasury with annual reviews of policies and strategies
- Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations of pension plan asset statements
- Work with corporate reporting group and provide support for external auditors in preparation of the Company’s annual audited financial statements as well as annual audited financial statements for the Canadian DB plan
- Provide support to tax team regarding tax reporting and filings on behalf of the pension plans
- Record minutes for Management Pension Committee meetings
- Perform pension related invoice processing, reconciliations, letters of instruction and departmental cost allocations
- Support Manager, Treasury in coordinating and preparing materials for Management Pension Committee meeting presentation materials

Specific Skills:

- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present issues, ideas and recommendations in verbal, written and presentation formats
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence key decisions
- Develop and identify new and innovative processes and/or efficiencies
- Ability to be a team player, as well as work independently

Education & Experience:

- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or equivalent
- CFA / accounting designation considered an asset
- Strong understanding of treasury activities including cash management, foreign exchange, capital markets, financial instruments, risk management principles
- Treasury related experience an asset
