Allied Universal is seeking** Chief Security Supervisor in Edmonton.
- **Must have Supervisor experience of minimum 1 year**:

- ** Pay rate : $24. 48**:

- ** Minimum 5 years security experience.**:

- ** Class 5 NON GDL.**:

- ** Level C First aid is an asset.**:

- ** Valid Security License.**:

- ** Open availability.**:

- ** Ability to delegate tasks.**:

- ** Proficient in MS Office Suite. IE: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.**:

- ** Great work ethic is a must.**:

- ** Must be able to communicate clearly, and concisely.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee all employee payroll transactions,
- Main clients contact on site
- Ensuring client needs are met and communicated. Make changes to the encompassed programs as required.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of the site Post Orders.
- Maintain adequate access levels for all General Motors and Contract employees on site via badge access through Lenel Security Systems.
- Conduct high level access audits and suspend access for terminated employees.
- Maintain IT Security by working with the IT department to terminate network access for past employees and contractors.
- Arrange care for all plant entrances and egresses ensuring that they remain well maintained while incorporating CPTED and physical security measures.
- Manage and maintain the onsite security.
- Complete and submit monthly visual management spreadsheets recording proof of standards upheld.
- Complete Security and Fire Compliance Surveys quarterly and submit them General Motors auditing service for program review.
- Act as the main contact with local Fire Department and Police services, meeting with them on set frequencies to discuss plant activity and local risks.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Able to:

- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
