**Lead Analyst, Chromatography**

**Role Overview**:
**Your Contribution**:
**Review and Approve Laboratory Data**:

- Responsible for reviewing and approving laboratory data generated from testing.
- Provide leadership in ensuring the generation, accuracy, and reliability of data.

**GMP/GLP Compliance**:

- Adhere to and advocate improvements to abide by Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) standards.

**Material Handling and Inventory Control**:

- Provide leadership in managing material handling and inventory control, including controlled substances, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Method Transfer, Qualifications, and Validation**:

- Lead activities related to method transfer, qualifications, or validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing methods.

**Chromatography System Troubleshooting**:

- Address and resolve errors in chromatography systems to maintain the reliability and accuracy of analytical instruments.

**Personnel Training**:

- Lead and train laboratory personnel on lab methods and instrumentation, ensuring team members are competent and knowledgeable.

**Assay Protocol Development**:

- Adapt, develop, or follow assay protocols and summarize results from analytical testing.

**Analytical Method Qualification and Validation**:

- Develop protocols for the qualification and validation of analytical test methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.

**Regulatory, Safety, and Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to established laboratory, regulatory, safety, and environmental procedures, including cGMP standards and company Quality Policies.

**SOP Authoring and Review**:

- Author, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.

**Good Documentation Practices**:

- Follow good documentation practices and provide reports for review in a timely manner to maintain an auditable record of activities and results.

**Laboratory Safety and Orderliness**:
**Analytical Testing**:

- Perform analytical testing using various instrumentation, such as HPLC, UPLC, UV, and others.

**Deviations and CAPA**:

- Report deviations (non-conformities) and participate in their resolution and the assignment of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to continuously improve processes.

**What You Will Bring**:

- A **Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or relevant work experience** is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
- A **minimum of 2-3 years of laboratory experience**, preferably in a cGMP and cGLP setting, indicating familiarity with regulatory and quality standards.
- **Experience with HPLC/UPLC systems** is necessary due to the focus on chromatography.
- **Previous experience in a lead position** is considered essential, emphasizing the need for leadership skills in this role.
