**Position Overview**

**Primary Responsibilities**

**1. Client Relationship Management**
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to create project scopes, budgets, and schedules for execution by the Project Services team
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of intellectual property and proprietary information
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to ensure the success of projects

**2. Technical Responsibilities**
- Oversee the design and construction of Buildings and Infrastructure projects in various Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan, ensuring that they are completed on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Guide project teams through the project cycle of Buildings in various sectors, including but not limited to Commercial, mixed-use development, Educational, Health-care facilities, etc.
- Oversee the preparation of construction plans, procedures, and specifications
- Develop and/or review/approve operational cost estimates (OPEX) and capital cost estimates (CAPEX)
- Work with discipline leads and project managers to create schedules and plan project work
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards, and maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and the environment
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and support the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies

**3. Leadership Responsibilities**
- Work with the discipline leads to ensure goals and objectives for technical resources align with business needs
- Work with the leadership team to set organizational strategic goals in the area of Buildings and Infrastructure and ensure that goals are achieved
- Make recommendations regarding current and future operational policies, procedures, plans, standards, processes, and practices

**4. Business Development Responsibilities**
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations to support the growth of March in the areas of Buildings and Infrastructure, specifically with Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan
- Carry out business development activities to expand the presence of March
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of request for proposals (RFPs) and assist with the preparation of proposal and bid packages

**5. Miscellaneous**
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing the design and construction of Buildings in various sectors
- Prior experience with Indigenous Services Canada funded projects
- Prior experience with Capital and Infrastructure projects within Indigenous communities
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan or Alberta
- Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and regulations (NBC, NFC, NPC, NECB, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Good understanding and knowledge of jurisdictional bylaws and regulations
- Strong technical knowledge of Building and Infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance processes
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be comfortable to gather information and attend meetings at site
- Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and designers would be considered an asset
- Detail-oriented with a passion to create high quality deliverables
