Optician

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, frames, and lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit and alignment of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual needs
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal comfort and functionality for customers
- Maintain inventory of eyewear, frames, and lenses, including ordering new stock as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as an optician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry and vision care
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
- Familiarity with laboratory processes for lens fabrication and prescription fulfillment
- Experience in retail sales or optical industry is a plus
- Proficiency in using optical software systems such as Epic for managing patient records and orders
- Retail management experience is a plus
