**Full Time - Seasonal (starts April - Ends October/November)**

RMH Landscaping is in search of a responsible, dedicated Landscape Carpenter and Hardscape Installer to join our team. The role requires someone who is able to supervise and lead installation of fences, decks, retaining walls and has experience in interlocking stone and hardscaping materials.

You are a hard-working, capable individual who loves physical work, the outdoors, and working cooperatively with other like-minded team members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Extensive experience building fences, decks, including footings, posts, beams, framing, decking, stairs, railing systems and wood retaining walls
- Experience in installing interlocking pavers, interlock stone wall systems, natural stone, and other hardscaping materials to create patios, retaining walls, walkways, driveways, and other outdoor living spaces
- Prepare and grade the ground surface to ensure proper drainage and stability.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment including but not limited to saws, hammers, drills, levels, compactors and post hole augurs.
- Preform other landscaping activities including but not limited to planting sod, trees, hedges, flowers, shrubs, manual excavation of worksite and worksite preparation
- Interact professionally with clients
- Accurately log work hours
- Adhere to all safety precautions

**Qualifications and skills**:

- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in outdoor carpentry and hardscaping
- Can Operate skid steers, compact excavators, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with co-workers/clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to landscaping operations
- Valid G License (experience with a trailer is an asset)
- Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites within the GTA.
- Able to repeatedly lift and move 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather condition
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willing to learn and to follow instructions

**Working hours**:

- Full-time, Seasonal (start mid April - October/November)
- Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm, however these hours may vary depending on weather and job timing/deadlines

**Compensation**:

- $22-$30/hr (experience based)
- No overtime pay
- 30 minute lunch break deduction

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
