**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Planning**
- Lead construction projects ensuring they adhere to original vision and design requirements.
- Secure all necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines and milestones using critical path scheduling.
- Strategize resource allocation to achieve project objectives efficiently.

**Reporting**
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and project teams to provide updates on budget, timeline, and project status.
- Generate detailed monthly cost reports and projections until project completion.
- Facilitate regular status updates and strategy meetings with all subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of project documentation and correspondence.

**Hiring**
- Strategically select and hire subcontractors and suppliers based on project needs and budget constraints.
- Assemble project teams, establish clear objectives, and delegate responsibilities to ensure successful project execution.

**Supervision**
- Provide direction and support to site staff and project teams.
- Ensure procurement of tools, materials, and equipment adheres to project budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve issues arising from delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies at construction sites.

**Negotiating**
- Draft, scrutinize, and negotiate contracts with all parties, including architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Approve and manage scope changes, ensuring all modifications are documented and transparently communicated to the project owner.

**Marketing/Professional Development**
- Actively pursue new project opportunities and engage in networking with potential clients and industry consultants.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and certifications to enhance professional growth and project success.
- Foster and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.
- Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
