**Assistant Site Supervisor/Finishing Site Supervisor**

Porchlight is currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Supervisor/Finishing Site Supervisor for our current project, a Multi-family Townhome Community.

Reporting to the Senior Site Supervisor, this position will be responsible for assisting the Senior Site Supervisor in the supervision of trade partners and site conditions, while coordinating and monitoring site activities within the guidelines of quality assurance and superior standards.

**Your accountabilities include**:

- Monitor general site activities and conditions, escalating concerns or risks to the Senior Site Supervisor when required.
- Completing daily unit inspections on schedule for quality assurance, and preforming deficiency remediation within Porchlight's systems, procedures, and processes.
- Be an active participant and contributor to Porchlight's Safety Culture and SECOR Certified Health & Safety Program
- Remain appraise of general site scopes of work and confirming that proper materials and quantities of materials are onsite as required.
- Processing daily site administration and necessary reporting
- Participating in regular and ad-hoc Trade and Safety Meetings

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- **5**+ years of well-rounded and progressive experience as an Assistant Site Supervisor and/or Finishing Site Supervisor assisting in the management of wood framed multi-family construction.
- Journeyman Carpenter would be preferred but not mandatory
- Carpentry experience in using power tools is an asset
- Self-motivated and attention to detail
- Problem solving skills to think quickly and adapt to change
- Personal hand tools and PPE (hard hat, steel toe boots, etc.) required
- Driver’s license and personal vehicle required
- Highly safety-oriented with ability and willingness to enforce Porchlight’s SECOR Certified Health and Safety Program.
- Current Level 1 First Aid Certification is a must.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook a must.
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience with Procore Construction Management Software a major asset.
- Superior attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills; capable of operating independently with the ability to know when to escalate needs to the Senior Site Supervisor.
- Ability to manage responsibilities and prioritize tasks while adhering to strict schedule deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals.

Working Conditions
- Indoors/outdoors at various work locations
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Bending, crouching, and crawling
- Climbing ladders and working form heights
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (ie: hard hat, safety boots, etc.)
- Manual dexterity required to operate hand and power tools and other equipment
- Additional hazards associated with the residential/commercial construction industry
