We have over 600 employees across four provinces, and we are committed to delivering quality products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our team in our London, ON office.

As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll and benefits for approximately 600 employees in a timely and accurate manner. You will also assist with payroll and benefits related inquiries, reports, audits, and compliance. You will report to the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor and work closely with the other Payroll & Benefits Administrator.

**What you will do**:

- Process weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for salaried, hourly and commission employees using Payworks software.
- Ensure payroll and benefits are administered in accordance with federal and provincial legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.
- Prepare and remit payroll and benefits deductions, such as WCB/WSIB, union dues, pension, etc.
- Set up new hires in the HR system, process terminations and update records.
- Enroll, update, and terminate employees in the benefits plan and liaise with the benefits provider.
- Respond to payroll and benefits related inquiries from employees and managers.
- Prepare and distribute payroll and benefits related documents, such as T4s, ROEs, paystubs, etc.
- Assist with payroll and benefits audits, year-end processes, and compliance reporting.
- Support the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor with payroll and benefits projects and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and benefits records and files.

**What you will need**:

- Minimum of 3 years of payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably in a multi-province environment.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute (NPI) formerly called the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) or working towards it.
- Solid knowledge of payroll and benefits legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll and benefits software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Team player attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
