Junior Technician

Crew IT is looking to hire a motivated individual with a passion for learning and working on IT support issues and related hardware. Comfortable with assisting clients in troubleshooting issues, maintaining and replacing hardware and commissioning wireless systems. Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate efficiently with team members to resolve issues and correspond with clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Field service position may be required in office for remote support and ticket updates
- Working in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial facilities.
- Troubleshooting software issues and maintenance
- Ethernet cab terminations, splicing and acceptance testing
- Develop client relationships, interacting with clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Knowledge of commonly used software including but not limited to Office365, Datto and Autotask an asset
- Normal hours are 8:00am - 5:00 pm, the ability to work flexible shifts, which include weekends, evenings
- Ability to travel within Canada, typical estimate is 30% travel, most work is in and around Red Deer, but may include Calgary, Edmonton.
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License with satisfactory Driver’s Abstract

**Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience**:

- 1 year IT Support experience or recent graduate of Computer Science or technology program.

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
