Brown & Beattie Ltd. is a fast-paced Building Science Engineering firm that specializes in building restoration and improvement. Brown & Beattie Ltd. is located in both Richmond Hill, Ontario and Guelph, Ontario and is currently offering an opening for a part-time Assistant Finance Administrator role and would also require some General Administrative responsibilities. The role has the potential to develop into a Full-Time position.
- Producing and processing cheques
- Preparing and updating monthly/weekly reports
- Processing staff timesheets
- Completing remittance payments
- Producing and maintaining cost-tracking reports
- Accounts payable
- Processing expense reports
- Payroll

General Administrative tasks may also involve assisting the Engineers, and other
Administrative staff as needed including, but not limited to:

- Reception - meet and greet clients, couriers, contractors.
- Manage calls, prepare daily couriers.
- Respond to general inquiries and information requests from clients, contractors and staff.
- Provide support for administrative staff as required.
- General office duties as required.

These tasks will require high attention to detail, quality, accuracy and prioritization of work in a team setting.

We are looking for an individual with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business preferred. Prior related administrative experience would also be beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deliverable deadlines
- Driver’s License and ability to travel to the office, as needed.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Practices excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills in English. Other languages not required though may be an asset.
- Must be poised, professional and thorough.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and experience managing customer requests.
