**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
We are currently seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Lopes Limited. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and organization of shop projects. You will steer the project through the lifecycle process, including obtaining customer requirements, technical design, identifying materials needs, and hazard assessments, coordinating between all collaborators, and implementing project plans.

**FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist project managers and department operations with daily project
administration and coordination.
- Review and coordinate project scope, technical documentation, and drawings.
- Assist in preparing project quotations, performing material take-offs, and
sourcing vendor-supplied items.
- Plan, quote, order and coordinate material, labor, and outsourcing.
- Prepare project documents.
- Prepare project documents and maintain schedules.
- Source, procure, and expedite vendor-supplied materials and services.
- Alert Project Managers to issues impacting project cost, schedule, scope, or
quality.
- Maintain up-to-date record-keeping and logs.
- Support the project team in providing effective project control.
- Coordinate project items with the production team as required.
- Attend project coordination meetings as needed.
- Stay current with industry, regulatory, client, and company standards.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Technical knowledge in any of the following disciplines: mechanical, civil or
structural is required
- Engineering degree/diploma preferred or equivalent combinations of technical
training
- Applicant must be able to read and understand construction drawings
(mechanical and structural)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in both a fast-paced, team environment and/or independently
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, focusing primarily on Excel.
- Well organized, able to multi-task and have strong problem-solving capabilities
