**Administrative Assistant**

Careforce Home Care is a home care company located in New Glasgow, NS. We are a growing, fast-paced office with a passion for providing exceptional care and support to our clients and caregivers. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide support to the management team.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Scheduling of clients and caregivers
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing information when needed
- Report and letter writing
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
- Assist office colleagues with other duties as needed
- Database creation and management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience in similar roles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional appearance
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficient in the use of office equipment
- Diploma/Certificate in Medical Office Administration
- Other Office Administration certificates would be considered.

Start Date: ASAP

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
