**Job Summary**
The **IT Support Technician **provides essential IT support to all Shearwater employees and maintains IT infrastructure to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable IT services across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
**User Workstation Management**
- Maintain consistent software versions on all user workstations.
- Manage standard configurations for various departments (sales, purchasing, accounting, etc.).
- Minimize user downtime and maintain inventory of computer assets.
- Ensure appropriate antivirus software on all workstations.
- Oversee meeting room systems for ease of use.
**IT Security Management**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security plan with management approval.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Monitor logging systems for security breaches and manage network vulnerabilities.
- Administer website-related certificates.
**Office 365 Administration and Support**
- Manage user permissions and configurations for SharePoint and Teams.
- Provide general support across the Office 365 suite.
**Jira Administration**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set up and maintain Jira projects.
- Manage workflows, permissions, and automations in Jira.
- Train users on filters and navigation within Jira.
**Microsoft Dynamics Business Central**
- General ERP knowledge and ability to manage user permissions and permission sets.
**Training and IT Solutions**
- Provide ad-hoc training to end users on core products.
- Identify and implement IT solutions for business challenges.
**Continuous Improvement**
- Maximize IT benefits and minimize unnecessary user actions.
- Maintain personal work priorities with management input.
- Stay informed of emerging threats and security best practices.
**Networking, Access, and Telephony Management**
- Administer company network, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Manage printers, employee key card access, and PBX phone system.
- Perform server maintenance and provide telephony system support.

**Career Band 1: $41,600-$70,000**
