As an experienced baker with enthusiasm and a passion for quality food you will work directly under our bakery manager with guidance from our red seal pastry chef. You will be responsible for ensuring preparation, cooking, taste and presentation are consistently of a high standard. We have two bakeries; one in North Saanich, and one in the heart of downtown Sidney, BC. We have a third cafe which we also supply in the Victoria International Airport.

The position is designed for an experienced night baker, and entails starting and finishing a nightly rotation of croissants, Danish's, muffins, scones, and cinnamon buns, including all their doughs from scratch, while highlighting locally grown fruit and produce from right here on the Saanich Peninsula with exceptional execution and finesse.

We are looking for someone with experience with a laminator and proofer, available full time to work overnight, having everything completed by 6:30am, otherwise shifts are flexible

We are looking for someone with experience that can be shown our equipment, and has the technical capabilities to be able to duplicate the series of items above with mínimal training and supervision reflected by the renumeration.

**Wage $55,000/yr + tips**

Skills and experience required:

- At least 2 years of commercial baking experience - required.
- Efficient working ethic.
