**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Technology/Chief Information Officer, the Manger, IT Security will be responsible for the strategic direction for the IT Security program, oversight of the City’s IT Security team, and work collaboratively to provide guidance to City departments to enhance the City’s security posture. The Manager, IT Security will develop the City’s risk management framework, develop IT security standards and procedures, oversee the cyber security awareness training program, and be responsible for the development of the information technology security architecture, ensuring adequate controls are implemented and monitored.
