Serv-A-Yard is looking to grow our team with a Junior Customer Care Specialist. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service for all inbound customer calls and inquiries. The specialist will address all customer questions and complaints with the goal of retaining the customer. The Customer Service Specialist will work under the direction of the Customer Service Leader and Sales Manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide top notch customer service to potential or existing customers
- Address and resolve all customer questions and complaints within a timely manner
- Liaise with various departments to ensure that customer inquiries are directed to the appropriate department and personnel
- Recognize up-sell opportunities with the customer once the question or issue has been resolved
- Perform A/R duties such as late payment follow up as required
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks to assist the Sales Manager
- Generate quotes for service customers as required
- Customer site visits as required
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the department.
- Create site maps and ensure completeness of maintenance files

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Previous experience in sales or client relationship building considered an asset
- Experience in a landscaping or snow removal company preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office

**Compensation**

20$/hr
