Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.

PURPOSE
The Purchasing Agent, Trims is responsible for the purchasing and procuring the appropriate merchandise mix based on production plan for our garments.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Partner with vendor to source trims & accessories
- Follow-up with vendors/factories on all trims style and communicate any change and details
- Follow up with suppliers, technical drawings and production;
- Negotiate product quality, purchase quantity, landed cost, and delivery with vendors

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in the fashion industry with buying responsibilities
- Knowledge of trims will be considered a major asset
- Ability to work in team and communicate effectively
- Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
- Demonstrated detail orientation; high sense of organization;
- Ability to manage multiple projects;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Excel (filters, simple formulas, etc.)
