**JOB SUMMARY**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
Events
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers
- Understand the complex needs of different events, and diverse clients
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
- Support planning and execution of Grouse Mountain-hosted events
- Day-of event execution including welcoming guests, problem-solving, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors
- Act as main contact for seasonal employees and vendors
- Events support including booking vendors, ordering event supplies, coordinating event prizing, and organizing events storage areas
Marketing
- Marketing administrative support including managing and ordering mountain signage, organizing marketing imagery
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative and engaging marketing campaigns
- Prepare reports on marketing and event performance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This role does not have any direct reports. The Marketing & Events Coordinator may occasionally assist with training and supporting seasonal events staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
- Successful completion of post-secondary degree or diploma (marketing preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high demand environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated and extremely organized with time management skills
- Committed work ethic; positive work attitude
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in event planning an asset
- Ability to work evening, weekend and statutory holidays, when required
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work on your feet
- Must be able to lift 20lbs+ as required
- May be required to work outdoors
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$45,000 - $55,000 annually
