- Reporting to the Associate Project Director, Stuart Lake Hospital (STH) Replacement, the Clinical Lead assists in the planning of all activities associated with the construction of the new facility and implementation of services upon completion. The Clinical Lead provides clinical input into the design, build and implementation of the STH which is an integral part of NH’s Strategic Plan and involves the incorporation of clinical processes to ensure consistency. The Clinical Lead works in partnership with all members of the Project team.
- Starting salary will be approximately from $96,429 to $120,537 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions**Stuart Lake Hospital **is a six acute care bed facility with six additional long-term care beds. The Hospital serves the community of Fort St James as well as the First Nation’s Communities of Takla, Yekooche, Nak’azdli, and Tl’azt’en (Binche and Tachie). The hospital has 24/7 emergency, diagnostic, laboratory, palliative care and a pharmacy. It offers full and part time physicians as well as visiting specialists.**Fort St. James **is located on the southeast shore of Stuart Lake. The population of the Fort St. James area is 4,500 (2021) including the rural areas and First Nations. **Qualifications**:

- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in a related health discipline such as Nursing, Allied Health Sciences or other relevant clinical discipline plus seven (7) years’ experience in project management, change management and/or quality improvement initiatives, preferably in a health care setting.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of the operations of an Acute Care hospital and health center including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the programs
- Knowledge of the operations of Preventative Health, Mental Health & Addictions, Rural Acute Care and Health Centers, primary care and long term care
- Knowledge of local and regional community health issues. Ability to manage human, financial and material resources.
- Ability to foster effective working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to balance multiple activities and projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated project management, process re-engineering and organizational skills
