iRange Toronto is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor for its Brampton/Toronto facility. The individual must be flexible to assist in managing a late-night operation. iRange Toronto is a first-class driving range and is the largest fully automated driving range in Canada and can accommodate up to 40 golfers at one time. The central feature of the system is it automatically sets up balls for golfers to hit so that they do not have to set up a new ball prior to their next stroke - and continues to do so instantaneously after every practice shot

This position is seasonal from approximately May 2023 - Nov 2023.
- Responsible for delivering superior food & beverage service and assisting with bar operations while ensuring that customers receive the best service possible.
- Managing bar operations and staff, including quality of service and compliance with
- Assists in inventory control and calculation for monthly analysis and reconciliation.
- Identifies opportunities to control costs of goods and waste management.
- Participates with the Chef and senior management - incorporating a menu pricing structure that will support the bottom-line goals.
- Directs ordering amounts, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settlement and accuracy, storage temperatures and areas.
- Supervises department members to uphold a constant level of staff productivity.
- Ensure all sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage and program POS system for menu programming, inventory control and daily use.

Work requirements:

- Smart Serve required.
- Food Handler Certificate required.
- 2 years minimum working in the food/take out industry.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work outdoors.

Key technical and behavioral competencies:

- Prioritize and organize work assignments - time management.
- Ability to direct performance of staff and follow up with corrections where needed.
- Identify departmental training needs and arrange for such training to be provided.
- Input and access information into on site computer and POS systems.
- Conflict resolution in a customer service-oriented manner.
- Ability to lift more than 40lbs and bend and stand for long periods of time.

Contract length: 4-8 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
