**MCL Group Ltd. **is an experienced earthworks company based out of Edmonton, AB, with over 17 years in the earthworks industry. **MCL Group **has a proven track record of being a great employer while providing great results for our clients.

**MCL Group** is currently looking for a full-time **Controller.**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- GST remittances.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Process bi-weekly payroll after compilation by admin and review any deduction
- Support project managers in the preparation and submission of billing packages containing invoices.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal and provincial tax laws, as well as year-end requirements.
- Create monthly cash flow statements.
- Complete internal accruals including creation of internal monthly financial statements.
- Reconcile payroll and related general ledger accounts and complete all submittals.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years as a Controller is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and ADP

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
- construction industry: 5 years (preferred)
- ADP: 2 years (preferred)
- Financial Controller: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
