**What you'll do for CNIB Deafblind Community Services**

As a Project Coordinator with DBCS, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing this research project and will work closely with our Inclusiveness, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Team and other team members to ensure smooth implementation of research activities, data collection, analysis, and report writing. Your responsibilities may also include coordinating with external partners, managing project budgets, and supporting dissemination of research findings. Your work will contribute to advancing DBCS' mission and making a positive impact on the community.
- Collaborate with the IDEA team members to develop research project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and monitor research activities, including data collection, data management, and analysis.
- Assist in developing research protocols, questionnaires, and other research tools.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as academic institutions, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Support recruitment and coordination of research participants, including scheduling interviews or focus groups.
- Maintain accurate records of research activities and data, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in data analysis, interpretation, and report writing.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures and assist in financial reporting.
- Support dissemination of research findings through reports, presentations, and other communication channels.
- Provide administrative support to the research project, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.

**Requirements**:
**We want to hear from you if you have**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, public health, or related disciplines). A master's degree may be preferred.
- Previous experience in coordinating research projects in a not-for-profit organization or academic setting.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of manners and settings.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection, and analysis techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using research software and tools, such as statistical software, data management software, or qualitative analysis software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to provide solutions to routine as well as complicated problems utilizing excellent analytical, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess, create and recommend solutions based on available metrics.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Assists in timely resolution of client service issues.
