**Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking an energetic & professional individual to add to our Supply Management Team as a Senior Purchaser.**
As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will be able to:
- Provide clear expectations to team members and hold them accountable for their performance, while providing continual feedback, motivation, direction and coaching to achieve work objectives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, focus, motivation, and encouragement to direct reports.
- Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports, including development capability building and succession planning.
- Perform various other duties and projects as assigned and required
- Ensuring all required materials and consumable are available on time for Production to allow uninterrupted vehicle production, Sales, and Service departmental requirements.
- Place PO’s as required.
- Manage the Past Due PO process.
- Manage the Warranty Return process to suppliers.
- Assist in resolving Shipping/Receiving/Invoicing issues as required.
- Manage material commodities as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Provide backup relief to review and action daily MRP results and overdue reports.
- Estimate and schedule materials requirements based on production, forecasts, material substitutions, storage availability, and maintenance requirements.
- Estimate need to reorder materials considering sales orders and design changes during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain communications with suppliers to monitor critical/deficient part; expedite late or critical deliveries; and develop and implement contingency plans if necessary
- Obtain pricing and delivery information for sales quotations/Engineering Designs.
- Maintain parts and vendor data in computer system (SAP and KANBAN).
- Provide part and purchasing information to other departments as needed.
- Participate in projects to insource/outsource parts as needed.
- Collect and analyze data as required to prepare and present updates and reports to the SCM team and management.
- Perform other duties as required.
Technical Skills:
- OMAC (Purchasing Management Association of Canada) accreditation or other post-secondary education in purchasing management principles is an asset
- 1-3 years Purchasing/Supply Chain Management experience required
- Purchasing from automotive manufacturers, suppliers and dealers is an asset
- Computer skills
- proficient with MS Office
- Knowledgeable in MRP systems
- SAP B1 an asset
