**Det’on Cho Logistics is a Northern company focused on supply chain and human Logistics primarily for the resource sector.**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team. In support of client operations in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Northern Saskatchewan, we are committed to delivering efficient and effective warehouse operations at our central consolidation centre in Edmonton.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, lead, and organize the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving merchandise, inventory management, priority shipments, and space configuration.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, creating a safe work environment for all staff.
- Establish and maintain processes and procedures to optimize resources and results, including workforce planning.
- Foster an environment where employees are engaged, committed, and motivated by providing strong coaching, development, and learning opportunities.
- Drive and manage employee performance and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective management of equipment and building maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Facilitate communication between local staff, departments and support functions to create consistency, clarity of direction, and awareness of support function requirements.
- Undertake special projects and tasks as assigned by senior management to support overall company operations.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in warehouse management, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving operations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as required to meet operational demands.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally between warehouse locations.
