**Company Description**

Based in Mississauga, a group of companies (No Sugar Company, Joyburst, and Wellnx Life Sciences Inc.) in the consumer-packaged goods industry that prides themselves on innovation and food sciences, with its brands distributed in major retailers throughout the US and Canada is looking for a Financial Controller.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time role for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The Financial Controller will also maintain accurate financial records, provide financial analyses, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience in a progressive senior financial role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or other financial certification is required
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting and accounting
- Ability to create and analyze financial statements
- Experience in finance, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience in cashflow management and planning of the company
- Knowledgeable about both Canadian and US tax, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE)
- Liaise with external accounts and manage banking relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of Great Plains is an asset
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry is a plus
