We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Floating Building Manager/Handyman Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of multiple properties within our portfolio. Additionally, you will provide training and support to our team of handymen to ensure they deliver top-notch service to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Building Management**:
- Provide stellar customer service to our residents, going above and beyond to meet their needs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our Strata Property Manager and management team, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
- Proactively identify maintenance needs and take swift action to address them, ensuring our building remains in top condition.
- Perform regular maintenance and repair of the property including but not limited to changing light bulbs, painting, minor drywall repair, patch walls, basic electrical, and understanding of HVAC.
- Handle administrative tasks with finesse, from managing schedules to handling payments and deposits.
- Respond promptly to on-site emergencies, demonstrating grace under pressure and a commitment to safety.
- Oversee tradespeople and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to our exacting standards.
- Operate security systems and conduct regular inspections, safeguarding our residents and property.
**Handyman Training**:
- Develop and implement training programs for handymen to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of building systems.
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to handymen on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Monitor the performance of handymen and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support their professional development.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve training curriculum and techniques.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Generate regular reports on property maintenance status, budget utilization, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for optimizing maintenance operations and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in building maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a commercial or residential property management setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate team members.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to building maintenance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with mínimal supervision.
**Education and Certifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certifications or vocational training in building maintenance or related fields preferred.
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

- Training & development: 1 year (preferred)
