Project Lead, Continuing Care Management Compensation Review Project -Part-Time (18 Month Temporary Assignment)

HANS has been engaged by the Department of Seniors and Long-Ter, Care (DSLTC) to conduct a review and refresh of the previously prepared Job Families Model for long term care and home support management and non-union compensation. HANS is seeking a Project Lead to lead and manage a project team, collaborate with interest holders and oversee the communications and deliverables to DSLTC.

**Position Scope**:

- Stand up and manage the project.
- Lead the project team.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Consistently liaise with DSLTC to ensure alignment of project progress with DSLTC interests and objectives.
- Effectively collaborate with DSLTC identified interest holders.
- Communicate project status updates, including progress reports on a regular basis.
- Lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status meetings, and post-project reviews, to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and interest holders.
- Ensure that project deliverables (including reports) meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources (with a specialty in compensation), communications, public relations, project management, a related field or a combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to meet position requirements
- Minimum two years of experience effectively leading and managing a team to meet objectives.
- Background and understanding of the Continuing Care Sector and challenges related to management and non-union compensation.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Relationship management
- Diplomacy and discretion
- Facilitation amongst and across varied interest holders
- Excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences and a variety of methods including formal report writing
- Experience in MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
