Founded in 1928, TST-CF Express provides LTL service within Canada from 22 locations and between Canada and the U.S. through its strategic partnership with Saia LTL Freight.
- **Currently we are looking to hire Part TimeWeight Inspector for our fleet**_**.**
- **Shift Hours**_
- **Mon, Tues, Thurs: 13:30-20:00**_
- **Wed and Fri: 15:30-20:00**_

**Job Duties**

As a part time W&I inspector you will be responsible for capturing and uploading the dimensions of freight moving through our terminal. This is a Mon - Fri shift from 5-9 p.m. daily. Your time will be split with approximately 75% of your shift working on the dock and the remainder in the office.

**Experience**
- Inspect shipments to ensure that freight is securely braced and blocked.
- Issue certificates of compliance for vessels without violations.
- Record details about freight conditions, handling of freight, and any problems encountered.
- Write certificates of admeasurement that list details such as designs, lengths, depths, and breadths of vessels, and methods of propulsion.
- Advise crews in techniques of stowing dangerous and heavy cargo.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
