Reports to: President

Supervises: 3 Supervisors, 5 chemists, 3 ICP Analyst, 1 documentation technician, 1 administrative assistant, 15 technicians, 1 production helper

**Duties**:

- Supervises all the activity of the chemical production;
- Manages strategically the production process, to ensure continuous improvement and efficient use of company resources;
- Supervises the production schedule and ensures timely delivery of orders;
- Maintains regular contact with main customers & sales department;
- Ensures the day-to-day management of staff in the department, as well as their continuous development and training;
- Takes an active role in the company’s health and safety management process;
- Participates in other management activities, as required.

**Essential Skills and Knowledge**
- University graduate (chemistry specialization would be an asset);
- Min. 5 years work experience in small / medium - scale chemical production (manufacturing);
- Experience with ICP, IC and related inorganic analytical techniques.
- Strong management abilities: planning, organizing, effective day-to-day management, controlling, continuous improvement;
- Good people management skills;
- Excellent and effective communication skills; bilingualism (English, French);
- Able to manage multiple priorities;
- Strong project management abilities with focus on results;
- Computer proficiency - Microsoft Office, ERP solutions.
- Member of the Order of Chemists of Quebec

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,413.56-$112,862.64 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
