**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Early Years Manager, the Enhanced Home Visiting (EHV) Coordinator is an essential member of an interdisciplinary, collaborative Public Health team responsible for the delivery of programs and services according to NS Public Health Standards and Protocols.
The EHV Coordinator provides support to CHVs who work with families during the prenatal, postpartum and early childhood period and focuses on families who are potentially vulnerable or at risk of poor child health and development outcomes. The CHV uses a family-centred, strengths-based approach to deliver the Enhanced Home Visiting (EHV) Program. Growing Great Kids (GGK) is the foundation for home visits.
The EHV Coordinator works collaboratively with the Early Years team (Public Health Nurses (PHNs), Community Home Visitors, Administrative Support, Early Years Consultant and Manager) to ensure quality case management and service delivery for the Enhanced Home Visiting program.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Baccalaureate degree in health, social sciences, counselling, or early childhood education/
development
- One year experience working with or providing services to children and families required
- Additional training in early childhood development an asset
- Growing Kids Inc. training an asset
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (travel will be required)
- Cultural First Nation Competency Training an asset
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to use audio visual equipment and general office equipment
- Demonstrates the core competencies for public health as outlined in the job analysis
- Demonstrates knowledge in the Health Protection Act and other relevant Regulations, Legislation & Acts, specifically the Child and Family Services Act
- Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$28.68 -$32.48 Hourly

$33.62 - 25 years' experience
