**Responsibilities could include but are not limited to**:

- The Junior Project Manager position must assist in the performance of the duties of Deputy Project Manager for communication and radar projects. The Junior Project Manager must perform the following tasks:

- Plan and initiate evaluations, concept, design, and development studies;
- Assist in the preparation and revision of project documents including Project Charter, Project Management plan, Cost Breakdown Structures, project schedule, budgets, risk management plan, lessons learned, Governance and sustainment documentation, Senior Review Board (SRB) minutes etc.;
- Manage and control the project documents including Project Charter, Project Management plan, Cost Breakdown Structures project schedule, budgets, risk management plan, lessons learned, Governance and sustainment documentation, SRB minutes etc., utilizing the Record Data Information Management System (RDIMS), and preparing and monitoring contract documentation utilizing Microsoft Office products (including MS Project) and DRMIS PS, and assist with creation and maintenance of Technical Assistance Agreements;
- Facilitate the development of design specifications, acceptance tests and engage technical and engineering expertise for planning and implementation of upgrades;
- Assist with the provision of engineering and maintenance direction, advice, technical information and services throughout a system’s life-cycle;
- Perform management of technical services required to ensure fielded systems maintain their certification and accreditation;
- Implement and interpret Controlled Good regulations;
- Assist with radar and communication project management requirements as directed by the TA;
- Arrange for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of installed information management / information technology systems;
- Perform Project Management activities on a variety of communication and radar equipment including but not limited to:

- Air Defence Radar;
- Communications equipment, including Tactical Data Link and Satellite equipment; and
- Command and Control systems.
- Provide project support for Communications and Radar systems and equipment loans: and
- Coordinate, organize and administer external inquiries i.e. formal Requests for Information from external party media Enquiries.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Must have a degree, diploma;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience providing Junior Project Manager services to a Government Project Office working on Capital projects;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience writing and managing the delivery of each of the following:

- Statements of Works
- Risk Assessments
- Schedules
- Cost breakdown structures;
- Budgets;
- Senior Review Board documents; and
- Project governance documents.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience assisting with the preparation of project governance documentation;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating, organizing and administrating external inquiries for example formal Requests for Information form external party media enquiries;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience developing project management plans;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience organizing and maintaining project documents using a record management system and receiving, storing, and disseminating classified documents.
