**We are looking for a Junior Exhibitions Preparator**
As the Junior Exhibitions Preparator, you will ensure the day-to-day maintenance of exhibit modules, interactive elements and accessories involved in the installations of the Museum of history, more specifically of the children’s Museum. You will also contribute to the planning of the maintenance schedule for small and medium permanent exhibitions, as well as prepare and install objects and accessories during seasonal rotations, and organize the workspace for the preparation and maintenance of objects and accessories used in exhibitions.

**You have one (1) year of relevant and recent experience in**:
- The installation of the diverse elements of an exhibition involving various media;
- Creating of sets, models or sculptures in the context of the composition of an exhibition and creative workshops for children;
- Planning deadlines and costing time and materials for an exhibition project.
**Knowledge of**:
- Museum practices in collection maintenance;
- Preparation of museum artifacts, related techniques and material;
- Principles and practices in workplace health and safety;
- Design processes for museum exhibitions.
**Education**:A three-year College Diploma in Museum Technology or a related field and/or completion of an accredited apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
**Compensation**:E4 ($54,924 to $67,971)
