**What You’ll Do as a Security Guard Supervisor**:

- **Supervise and Manage Security Team**: Oversee daily operations and provide leadership to a team of security guards, ensuring they follow protocols and maintain high performance standards.
- **Ensure Compliance with Security Procedures**: Monitor and enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe environment for both employees and visitors.
- **Conduct Training and Development**: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for security staff to enhance skills and ensure they are up-to-date on security practices and regulations.
- **Monitor Security Systems**: Oversee the operation of security equipment such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems to ensure they are functioning properly and responding to any security breaches.
- **Respond to Security Incidents**: Handle emergency situations, including accidents, trespassing, theft, and other incidents, ensuring proper reporting, investigation, and resolution.
- **Prepare Reports**: Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations, including daily logs and incident reports.
- **Conduct Inspections**: Perform regular site inspections to ensure security guards are stationed appropriately and security equipment is operational.
- **Schedule and Assign Shifts**: Create work schedules for security staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adjusting staffing levels based on the needs of the site.
- **Maintain Positive Relations**: Foster good communication and positive relationships between security staff, management, and other departments within the organization.
- **Implement Security Enhancements**: Identify areas for improvement in security protocols and make recommendations for enhancing security measures to address emerging risks.
- **Ensure Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns from employees or visitors and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be professionally fluent in the English language
- Must have Ontario Security Guard License
- Must have at least **ONE YEAR** of experience as a security guard/Supervisor
- Use-of-force certificate is REQUIRED.
