- Open- Your role as a part-time instructor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic will be supported through instructional materials and on-going employer provided training. This may include a requisite faculty certificate program depending on your employment status in future positions. This initiative will develop our instructors professionally while ensuring a high quality learning experience for all Saskatchewan Polytechnic students.**Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)**:

- 1. Instruct Human Services courses.
2. Update, revise and maintain core Human Services distance education materials (course manuals, information packages, etc.).
3. Supervise and evaluate students involved in the Human Services programs.
4. Work as a team member with Human Services Program Head, other base and extension instructors.
5. Primary responsibility will be instruction of all core Human Services distance education courses.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Duties**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- 1. University degree and/or related education in the field of criminal justice.
2. Minimum of five years recent and relevant experience as a member of a municipal or RCMP service.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of the philosophy of policing from both a historical and current perspective.
5. Working knowledge of current trends and research in the field of law enforcement.
6. Demonstrated problem-solving and strong decision-making and strategic planning skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written) and the ability to work with people from equity groups.
8. Able to obtain full satisfactory security clearance.
9. Computer skills including competence with Microsoft Office.
10. Experience working in Indigenous communities.
