Its principal subsidiaries are: Falko Regional Aircraft, one of the world’s largest aircraft lessors and asset managers focused solely on the regional aircraft leasing segment; Jazz Aviation, the sole provider of regional air services to Air Canada; and Voyageur Aviation, a provider of specialty air charter, aircraft modification, and parts provisioning services to regional aviation customers around the world.
**Purpose of Position**:
Work directly with the leaders in the various business units and be responsible for providing corporate level treasury support.
**Responsibilities will include**:
Debt Compliance
- Manage quarterly loan covenant process, including completion of financial covenant calculations, administering internal non-financial covenant process, and distributing required documentation to lenders.
- Complete quarterly borrowing base calculations for lenders.
- Manage revolving facility borrowing requests and repayments.
Treasury/Financial Reporting
- Support development and maintenance of key lender relationships through preparation of various analysis, presentations, etc.
- Complete periodic treasury reporting, including foreign exchange, interest rate hedge, and equity hedge monitoring, as well as weekly cash forecasting.
- Manage corporate treasury programs as required, such as normal course issuer bids, preferred share dividends, and corporate debt repayment.
- Review and prepare support for treasury-related sections of quarterly financial statements and MD&A.
- Complete quarterly cash intercompany balance review and related settlement journal entries as required between all Chorus entities.
Investor Relations
- Compile quarterly stock analyst model summaries and compare against forecast.
- Monitor weekly stock activity.
- Attend stock analyst meetings and record discussions as necessary.
- Ad hoc analysis of peer companies.
- Review and update of investor relations presentation as required.
Miscellaneous
- Participate in the creation of board and executive level presentations.
- Participate in capital raise processes through compilation of supporting information and communication with lenders, underwriters, and legal counsel.
- Quarterly forecasting of incentive programs.
- Compile information required for annual insurance renewals.
- M&A due diligence support as required.
- Review of invoices related to corporate treasury transactions and programs.
- Provide financial analysis, support and sound recommendations on projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) with at least 2 years of experience.
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge with a public company is an asset.
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) and data analysis.
- Successful in a dynamic, fast paced and deadline driven environment.
- Collaborative thinker able to build relationships and consensus across multiple functional areas.
- Excellent communication skills.
