**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a timely, courteous and enthusiastic manner; attending to customer requests and inquiries
- Handle customer concerns and questions in a diplomatic and friendly approach, escalating concerns to quality assurance in an appropriate manner
- Abide by policies and procedures, taking direction from Store Manager and Supervisor; act accordingly to complete job tasks and checklists in a timely manner
- Maintain active communication with Store Manager and Supervisor to ensure familiarity with all special events, promotions or any ongoing changes
- Upsell customers on promotional and new product launches
- Keen awareness to health and safety and required food handling protocol; maintaining store cleanliness and organization
- Opening and closing the store in accordance of operational procedures

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- 2+ years retail sales experience
- “Smart Serve” certified is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude to be part of a winning team
- Excellent work ethic and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong command of the English language
- Flexible to work various shifts on a full-time basis, typically 4 shifts per week; Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 5pm; able to work holidays as required
