We are seeking an **Industrial Painter** in our machine shop.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Paint industrial products such as gear boxes according to customer and industry standards
- Selecting and mixing coating systems as per technical data sheet (TDS).
- Prepare and set spraying equipment both conventional and airless.
- Be capable of reading and understanding technical documents, procedures.
- Have the ability and desire to become efficient with painting techniques, meet company productivity rates, maintain mil thickness, and learn all aspects of job as required.
- Cleaning spraying equipment with solvent or other recommended cleaning solutions daily.
- Maintaining the paint mix room while following the company safety policies.
- Operating the sandblaster to clean steel according to specified safety requirements.
- Maintaining proper respirator care and operation and using the breathing air supply system when spraying epoxy paints.
- Operate overhead crane and forklift.
- Maintain equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on painting equipment.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects under the direction of the team leader.

- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Aptitude for working with hand and power tools, equipment, and machines
- Reliable track record at previous employment
