Powder coating opportunity in a fast-paced industrial coating environment, experience preferred but not required. Skills preferred are safety orientated, organized, accepts feedback, strong work-ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn and adequate communication skills.
**Powder Coat Painters** have a lot of opportunities to grow; WHIMIS, Fall Zone Protection, Color Theory, Different Paints and Coatings, and Forklift Certificate. All Powder Coating teachings and industrial training will be done in house.
**Starting Wage**:$18.00 - $26.00 per hour / based on experience.

**Shift Availability**:Dayshift / Night shift
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Schedule**: 5/ 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday 4/ 10-hour shifts - Monday to Thursday
**Tasks and Responsibilities of a Powder Painter -**Knowing the Employee Handbook Policies and Procedures**,**Ensuring Workspaces are Clean**,** and paperwork is handed in on time. Communicating to Team Leads about quality issues, incidents, other issues. Following the schedule/directions, understanding which job should be painted at which time and curing times. Loading and filling paint in hopper, using the forklift to load jobs and move them into the booth and into the oven, paint gantries/carts, QC/QA paint, Cure Tests, Hatch Tests, Mil Reading tests, using of the ovens and timers, understanding locations of paint, and reading paint codes.
**Equipment Used by a Powder Painter**:
- Safety Glasses, Ear Protection, Work Boots, Knife, Pliers, Compressed Air, Paint Gun and Hopper, Ovens, Paint Suit, Respirator or Hood, Dust Mask, Gloves, Mil Gauge, Cure Tests and Other.
