**Responsibilities**:
- Answer phones
- Identify customer needs regarding sales, rental or service
- Complete reservations
- Help client identify specifications regarding equipment
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Coordinate and follow-up on service calls, past due accounts
- Run reports on Herc Rentals systems.
- Must be computer literate, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
- College degree in business administration, marketing or related field preferred
- Experience in customer service, sales or operations
- Knowledge of the rental industry, including knowledge of industrial and construction equipment and tools a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills

- Ability to engage in natural verbal interaction with customers and utilize sales methods to close deals
- Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner
- Adapts to changing business and customer needs
- Customer Service - Internal and External Customers
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams
- Must have great customer service skills and a “Can do” attitude
- Ability to solve complex & technical problems in tough operational environments. Work with the operational team to formulate a detailed execution plan as part of the sales solution
- Communicate - Be proactive and initiate sales activities with Sales Reps and Branch/District Managers
**Conditions of Employment**
1 - 3 year of relatable experience
1 to 2 years of previous inside or business-to-business customer service experience within the industrial, equipment rental or construction sectors, an asset
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
