**IT Manager **for a
**full-time opportunity.**

As the IT Manager, you will have a strong technical aptitude and project management skillset. You should be a self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to make your mark on an organization.

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Organize existing IT priorities and provide a timeline and budget for completion.
- Provide hands-on leadership in all aspects of technology.
- Partner with the Director of Finance in the development of a formal IT strategy and manage the implementation of its various components.
- As a hands-on leader, mentor full-time IT staff and third-party vendors to manage all hardware and software components of existing ERP system, Windows Server and MS Exchange environment (currently migrated to Office 365), wireless device management, and all related aspects of an Enterprise WAN.
- Fulfill the role of project manager for all IT projects including developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
- Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement with a particular eye to security.
- Produce reporting and assist in preparing financial budgets.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
- Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide project maps, budgets, and timelines for all current and future IT projects that allow the senior team to engage and support the success of the same.
- Support the creation of a 1-, 3- and 5-year strategic plan with budgets for the senior team.

**To be successful you need to have**:

- IT management in a medium-sized business environment.
- 3+ years’ experience managing Microsoft OS, ERP systems (WMS, RFID, and e-payments), and enterprise data centres.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and support software processes, lifecycles, and development.
- Proven experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining physical infrastructure.
- Directory, policy, security, and operating system administration skills and proven experience.
- Direct involvement with telecommunication, mobile, and wireless device management within an environment of ~40 users.
- Strong analytic and organizational skills.
- Experience leading or supervising others.

**Nice to have skills**:

- Internet-based ordering systems and customer portals.
- Desktop OS imaging administration.
- SharePoint design/usage.
- Truckmate knowledge & experience.
- Transportation or Supply chain industry experience.
