*Job Summary* As a Phlebotomist at our medical facility, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing venipuncture and collecting blood samples from patients for medical testing and transfusions. *Responsibilities* - Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures to accurately identify patients and correctly phlebotomize them. - Interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner to ensure their comfort and well-being during the blood collection process. - Label blood samples accurately and maintain proper documentation for efficient processing and testing. - Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to prevent any risks during blood collection procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen collection and timely delivery to the laboratory. *Qualifications* - Certification in phlebotomy or completion of a phlebotomy training program. - Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. - Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory procedures related to phlebotomy. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide quality patient care during blood collection procedures.
