The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with customers.

You play a key role in growing sales and achieving revenue targets for the organization. You are part of the Systemex Automation Management Team and report directly to the General Manager

You are responsible for customized automated products and solutions as well as modular robotic cells and standard products.
- **Key Responsibilities**_

You are responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

2. Leading a commercial and technical support sales team of 4 professionals and growing.

3. Coaching the sales team to meet and exceed objectives.

4. Hiring and developing team members on the different techniques necessary to achieve the set objectives.

5. Identifying potential customers and building strong relationships with key decision makers.

6. Conducting market research to understand customer needs and trends and adjusting sales strategies accordingly

7. Positioning Systemex as a North American leader integrator of automated products and solutions

8. Generating leads through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and referrals.

9. Translating customer needs to then present and demonstrate the company's products and services to customers.

10. Supporting the RFP response process by providing the technical and functional requirements of automated solutions to help complete sales opportunities

11. Collaborating with the engineering team to bid on the best solutions to customers

12. Negotiating contracts and conclude sales agreements, guaranteeing favorable conditions for the customer and Systemex

13. Collaborating with the marketing department to design online promotional materials and effective marketing campaigns for the company's products and services.

14. Providing regular sales forecasts and accurate reports to the management team.

15. Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

16. Attending industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products or services.

17. Building client relationships that foster long-term partnership and repeat business.

18.Developing your ability to answer high-level questions across the Systemex Automation portfolio
- **Required Skills**_

1. Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of varied technical and relevant experience in engineering or automation AND in sales or business development or any other relevant experience.

2. In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.

3. A minimum of two years of experience in a management position would be an asset.

4. Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or experience relevant to operations would be an asset

5. Experience in automation would be an asset;
6. Experience and proven results in sales and business development in preferably a B2B environment.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and with clients and their executives.

8. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to conclude commercial agreements.

9. Dynamic and entrepreneurial style leader that is motivated to achieve sales targets.

10. Ability to work independently and in a team.

11. Familiarity and use of CRM software (Hubspot), sales tools and digital marketing.

12. Ability to learn new technologies;
13. Autonomy and initiative;
14. Organized as well as an ability to manage priorities and demonstrates rigor in the execution of your work
