Bouygues Energies and Services currently has flexible opportunities for experienced Cleaners across London; if you are looking to work several hours a week up to full time and may also need flexibility in terms of work location. We are keen to take on Cleaners and provide them with a modular work pattern that suits their needs.

Locations - Ealing, London Bridge, London Waterloo, Lambeth, Hackney, Kew, Westminster, Bermondsey, Vauxhall, Middlesex, Tooley Street, Islington & Lewisham.

**Key activities**:

- Will report to the Cleaning Supervisor
- To undertake general cleaning duties including cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish
- Keep client’s environments clean and tidy to a high standard
To clean carpets ensuring that they are vacuumed and deep cleaned as appropriate, according to the manufacturers’ recommendation
- To undertake suction cleaning, sweeping and washing of all floor areas to ensure that they are free from dust, debris, dirt, litter, smears and with no evidence of stains, spillages or residual cleaning materials
- To empty waste bins and receptacles, ensuring they are disinfected and free from smears and odours and ensuring the safe segregation and disposal of rubbish in accordance with procedures
- To check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before starting work and report any defects
immediately. Ensure all cleaning equipment including machinery used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use ready for next cleaning operation

**Skills & experience**:

- Previous experience of working in a cleaning role is preferable
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment essential
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of people
- A flexible and proactive approach to work with a can do attitude
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for the equipment and chemicals being used an advantage
- Able to work under own initiative to meet requirements of the role
